Michael Dauth and Hubert Kaeppel:

Chamber music for guitar and strings.

Two world acclaimed performers and professors share with us their precious experience concerning the co-existence of the guitar with the strings family and talk about issues of repertoire and performance practice.

Stelios Kyriakidis:

Improvisation and Creativity for classical musicians of all levels.

Through improvisation and ensemble music, the student can improve and develop musicality, rhythm and aural skills as well as guitar technique. The aim is to better perform the repertoire and to develop well-rounded musicianship.

Eleni Skarkou:

The guitar in the 20th and 21st century: notation, composition, modern techniques and technology.

Comparative analysis of specific works, techniques of contemporary notation and the role of technology in the guitar composition.

Thanasis Ziros:

Traditional music transformed and played on the classical guitar.

The procedure of transcribing traditional music with eastern enfluences for the modern classical guitar.

Prearation course by H. Käppel

This course is especially for students who wish to enter the Music Academies.

There will also take place auditions for the International Koblenz Guitar Academy (Koblenz Guitar Academy)
