Chloe Aligianni

Chloe Aligianni – is a choreographer, dance teacher and movement director based in London. A Chisenhale Dance Space Artist Member, her choreographic work has been supported by Arts Council England, local authority and arts organisations and presented among others at Robin Howard Theatre, King’s Place, Athens Video Dance Project,The Truman Brewery, Michaelis Theatre,Laban Bonnie Bird Theatre, Stratford Circus. As movement director she has worked with writer Jennie Buckman (Giants Theatre), PlayPen Productions, Tania Azevedo and The Vault Festival. Cross disciplinary collaborations include working with artist Nicola Dale (supported by Standpoint Futures, Chisenhale Art Place, Arts Council) and visual artists Alicia Paz and Monika Oeschler. Part of Gary Clarke’s (DV8) first London LUSTRUM project at Greenwich Dance Agency and recently selected by David Zambrano to train in Flying Low & Passing Through through the Integro Training Programme (Thailand). Her teaching experience includes devising and delivering dance technique classes to professionals, adults and young people as well as one off workshops. She has taught for the Royal Academy’s Step Into Dance Programme and currently teaches dance at Central Foundation Girl’s School in Bow, East London.
