He is born in 1969 in Piraeus. He began his guitar studies at the age of 10 at the Athens Conservatory, where he was a distinguished scholar in Costa Cotsioli΄s class. In 1988 he got Diploma Guitar with “honors and prize money” from the Athens Conservatory. He continued his studies at Trinity College London, where he graduated with a Licentiate Recital in Guitar (LTCL) with Distinction, as well as Advanced Recital Ensemble with Distinction, as a guitar duo with Vassilis Mastorakis. In 1990 he took his Degree with “honors” from the European Conservatory and then Degree in Counterpoint and Fugue with “honors” from the Municipal Conservatory of Piraeus. He attended seminars given by Leo Brouwer (Cuba), Roberto Aousel (Argentina), Jesus Castro-Balmpi (Peru), Robert Braitmor (England), Hubert Kepel (Germany), Wolfgang Lentl (Germany) and Alexander Fraoutsi (Russia). In 1982 he won the first prize at the International Guitar Festival of Volos contest for youth up to 15 years. In 1988 he won the Harmony Award at the Conservatory of Athens and in 1989 the first prize in the World Soloist Competition in Volos Guitar Festival. He has given many recitals all over Greece, and abroad (Cyprus, Portugal, France, England, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Russia, Cuba, USA, etc.). Also he has appeared many times on television and radio. He has performed with the guitarist Vassilis Mastorakis, in international guitar festivals Volos (Greece), Santo-Tirso (Portugal) and Havana (Cuba). In 1998 he signed an exclusive contract with the record company SONY CLASSICAL and he released his first CD titled “TANGO PASSION” with the guitarist Vassilis Mastorakis, which received rave reviews in Greece and abroad. That same year participates with the guitarist Vassilis Mastorakis in the record work of Dionysis Tsakni “TERRITORIAL WATERS” was released by SONY MUSIC. In 2002 he participates with the guitarist Vassilis Mastorakis in the CD that was issued by SONY MUSIC in memory of Astor Piazzola titled “TANGO LESSONS – best Tango of Astor Piazzola” which included recordings of bigger artists tango of all time between them and the same of Astor Piazzola. In 2004 invited to participate along with the guitarist Vassilis Mastorakis in the CD of Dimitra Galani “THE I LOVE YOU” was released by SONY MUSIC. The same year with the guitarist Vassilis Mastorakis circulate again with SONY CLASSICAL, a CD under the title “BORDEL”, where the internationally renowned participates Greek singer George Dalaras, in a play for 2 guitars, bass, percussion and voice in arrangement by Kostas Ganosselis, based on a traditional Spanish theme. 2005 To participate in the CD that was released by the record company “EROS MUSIC”, titled “MASTER CLASS-MISOS CENTURY GREEK GUITARISTS”. To 2007 with the guitarist Vassilis Mastorakis and tenor Mario Frangoulis circulate with SONY CLASSICAL, a CD under the title “SKOTEINOS LOVE” lyrics F.G. LORCA and music of Dimitris Maramis. To 2008 with the guitarist Vassilis Mastorakis and tenor Konstantinos Heir participate in the CD of Dimitris Maramis “SCENES FROM silent films”, released by the record company “ODOS PANOS”. He has appeared as a soloist in famous concert halls such as: “Saint George” in the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow, “Alte Opera” in Frankfurt, Theatre “Olympia” in Paris, “Pallandium Theater” in London, “Raddisson Theater” in Copenhagen, “Hall of Springs” in Saratoga, Theater “Amadeo Rolntan” Havana “Athens Concert Hall”, “Concert Hall”, “Herod Atticus”, “Epidaurus Ancient Theater” at the Athens Festival, the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus, Theatre “Pallas” in Athens, Royal St. Mark etc...
He has collaborated with major orchestras such as: Philadelphia Orchestra, Modern Ionic Orchestra, Presidential Russian Federation (Kremlin), Symphony Sofia, Athens State Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of ERT, Camerata Orchestra of the Friends of music, Cyprus State Orchestra. Also collaborated with leading conductors such as Charles Dutoit, Paul Morris, Leo Brouwer, Pavel Ovsianikov Simeon Kogan, Willem de Bordeaux, Alexandros Myrat Luke Karytinos, Miltos Logiadis and with known Greek composers (Michael Gregory, Yannis Markopoulos, Dionysis Tsakni, Stephen Korkolis Nikos Xanthoulis Dimitris Maramis) and singers (Lakis Halkias Giorgos Dalaras, Haris Alexiou, Dimitra Galani, Mario Frangoulis, Giota Nega). In 2002 he played with the guitarist Vassilis Mastorakis and pianist Stefano Korkolis world premiere the “Concierto Argentino” for two guitars, piano and orchestra Stefano Korkolis written in memory of Astor Piazzola. That same year, again with the guitarist Vassilis Mastorakis, played the world premiere Concerto “From Astor to Manos” for two guitars and orchestra of Nikos Xanthoulis dedicated to the same. In 2016 she performed the world premiere, along with Michael Sourvinos, the “Thracian Concerto” for two guitars and orchestra by Dimitri Svyntridi. He has also played as a soloist several times with the Greek guitar Orchestra, under the direction of Vangelis Boudounis. He taught from 1988 to 2012 at the Athens Conservatory. Artistic Director Municipal Conservatory in Nice – Ag. I.. Rendi and Municipal Conservatory Evrostini. He is also Director of Music Workshops of the Model Musical Centre Piraeus and Superintendent of School Guitar at the Municipal Conservatory of Piraeus. Since 2006 Superintendent of the School of Guitar at Conservatory ARTISTIC from 2009 Superintendent of the School of Folk Guitar Unity Conservatory Mourikio – Eordea of Kozani. From 2013 he is President of the Association of Greek Guitarists and organizes the Festival: Thrace, Macedonia, Ionian Islands, Karditsa, Volos, Amfikaia, Attica, Piraeus, blocks Kokkinias, Young Guitarists Greek Peloponnese, Crete and the guitar Academy Parnassus. Several students have excelled internationally and have won over 70 awards in international and national competitions.
